It’s normal to have questions when considering therapy. Below you’ll find answers to some of the most common ones we receive, including information about sessions, scheduling, fees and what getting started looks like.
Our practice works with adults, teens and couples. We support clients navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, life transitions and relationship challenges. Each therapist has specific areas of expertise and we will help match you with the provider who best fits your needs.
Yes, we offer a complimentary 15 minute consultation where you can ask questions, share what you’re looking for in therapy and see if our practice feels like a good fit. Consultations are available by phone or video, whichever feels most comfortable for you.
Yes we are accepting new clients. Availability varies by therapist and we are happy to help you find the right support within our practice.
Our therapists use evidence based and trauma informed approaches, which may include Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), somatic/mindfulness based approaches and relational work. Treatment is always individualized to meet your unique goals and needs.
Sessions are around 50 minutes. Extended sessions may be available depending on clinical need and therapist availability.
Most clients begin with weekly sessions, especially at the start of therapy. As progress is made, some clients choose to meet biweekly or as needed. Frequency is always discussed and agreed upon with your therapist.
We are in-network with the following insurance plans;
• Aetna
• Blue Cross Blue Shield (federal and out of state plans)
• Blue Shield of California
• Cigna
• Health Net
• Magellan
• Managed Health Networks (MHN)
• Medi-Cal/Gold Coast
• Tricare
• United Healthcare/UMR/Optum
We may also accept out-of-network benefits. Insurance coverage varies widely by plan. We offer an insurance benefit check before the first session and give you an estimate of insurance coverage and out-of-pocket costs.
We welcome self pay clients. Our fees are $150 for individual sessions and $180 for couples sessions.
We require at least 24 hour notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a fee, as this time is reserved specifically for you.
We currently offer in-person therapy sessions in Santa Clarita, CA. We also provide secure telehealth sessions for clients throughout California. Telehealth allows you to attend therapy from the comfort of your home while maintaining privacy and security.
Beginning May 1, 2026, we will also offer in-person sessions in Ventura, CA.
Please note: There is currently a waiting list for in-person sessions in Ventura.
Getting started is simple:
1. You can book online or contact us through our website, email, phone call or text. All you have to say is "I am interested in therapy" and we will take it from there.
2. You can schedule a free consultation or your first session, whichever feels right for you. During a consultation, you can ask questions and see if the therapist is a good fit before getting started.
3. Complete your intake paperwork. You’ll receive secure, HIPAA compliant forms and telehealth link.
4. Attend your first session by joining through your secure link at your scheduled time.
